Flick Switch

$40.00Price

Reduce your energy bills and environmental impact with the Flick smart light switch.

Control your lights from anywhere with your tablet or smartphone using Flick's iOS or Android app.

Requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection and a neutral wire.

  • How it works

Flick is a first of its kind light switch that builds in color and sound (if you chose to enable) signals to help the whole family understand when energy is most expensive, and, or carbon intensive. Imagine never having to nag your family again about lights or TVs left on, appliances running during hot afternoons, or the A/C running cold during expensive times of the day!

Flick takes time-based electric rate signals directly from utilities (Compatible with major CA and AZ utilities) to give everyone in the home the information they need to help manage the family energy bill.

Providing simple real-time information on energy usage and consumption is estimated to increase response by 3x! (Jessoe & Rapson, "Knowledge is (Less) Power," 2014)

Let the Flick provide constant signals if and when you choose to use them!

  • Set-up

Installation of the Flick can be completed in a few minutes. Although anyone handy enough can safely follow our instructions, a qualified professional is recomended.

After installing in the wall, Flick can be set-up with just a few steps with the Flick Android or iOS app.

The Flick app will prompt you to connect to your Wi-Fi, select your local utility and rate - that's it! The Flick will upload all weekday and weekend signals, by month and season from your local utility.

The Flick app will let you remotely control your lights, set schedules and adjust signal settings.

  • Tech Specs

Flick is a single pole smart on/off light switch, able to replace any existing light switch where there is a neutral wire in the wall.

Single pole means only one switch controls the lighting load, where some lighting such as hall lights may be controled by two or more switches (not currently compatable).
